Book your dates
Pick check-in and check-out and see the price up front. Some docks are Instant Book; others send a requestto the owner. You won't be double-booked.
Get confirmed
Instant bookings are confirmed right away. For requests, the owner accepts or declines — you're notified by email either way, and you're never charged for a declined request.
Pay securely
Once confirmed, pay by card through Stripe. Your payment is protected and the dock owner is paid through the platform — no cash or transfers on the dock.

Add your dock in minutes — location, photos, size, depth, power, amenities, and your nightly, weekly, or monthly price. It goes live on the map.
Get booking requests
Boaters book instantly or send you a request. You're notified by email with the dates and exactly what you'll earn.
Accept or decline
Review each request from your Reservations page and accept the ones that work. Declining frees the dates back up automatically.
Get paid
Connect your bank once through Stripe. After each paid booking, your earnings — the total minus the Swelz service fee — are deposited automatically.

The price you see at checkout includes Swelz's 15% service fee, which covers secure payments, support, and keeping the platform running. Dock owners receive the booking total minus that fee. Listing your dock is free — you're only charged when you earn.

Common questions
Do I need a boat to use Swelz?
To book a dock, yes — Swelz rents dock and slip space, not boats. To list, you just need a private dock, slip, lift, or mooring you have the right to rent.
When am I charged?
Only after a booking is confirmed. For request bookings, you're never charged if the owner declines.
How do dock owners get paid?
Owners connect their bank once through Stripe. After each paid booking, earnings (the total minus the 15% service fee) are deposited automatically.
Is it free to list my dock?
Yes. Listing is free — Swelz only takes its service fee when you actually earn from a booking.
What if a dock doesn't fit my boat?
Every listing shows max length, beam, depth, and power. Always confirm the fit before booking, and check conditions like tides and weather.
